Bolivia’s President-Elect Rodrigo Paz Holds Key U.S. Talks with Secretary Rubio and International Financial Institutions
Ahead of his inauguration on 8 November 2025, Bolivian president-elect Rodrigo Paz met this week with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and senior officials from the IMF, World Bank and Inter-American Development Bank as part of a concerted effort to revive foreign-currency inflows, secure fuel supplies and restore macro-economic stability in Bolivia.
